It is a great privilege to share this website which contains a bit of the vision, work, spirituality, and values I bring to ministry. I look forward to getting to know you in the coming days and exploring what we can create together during such an important time in the life of your congregation.
I bring to ministry a love for community, joy in worship, and a commitment to fostering our values as Unitarian Universalists individually, as congregations, and within the greater world. I believe that it is important for congregations to have strong lay leadership in balance with a strong minister and that each should help the other learn, grow, and transform over time. Ultimately, ministry is a collaborative effort where we live out the values of accountability, integrity, justice, compassion, and commitment together.
I am currently serving as Interim Minister at the First Unitarian Church of Alton, IL. This has been a great congregation to deepen my understanding of the interim process, building institutions for available resources, and deepening my skills as an effective leader. As I move forward with my application to the Interim Ministry Guild, I hope to spend the next year or two exploring more intentionally the systems and processes of the interim and tools that support congregtaions in their personal work. I look forward to speaking with your Interim Search Committee and leaders in the coming days and weeks!
With blessings on the journey!
Rev. Sunshine Jeremiah Wolfe, M.Div.
