Religious Education

As Spiritual Development Director at the U.U. Church of Tucson, AZ, I was responsible for Coming of Age, High School, and Adult religious education.  That began an ongoing relationship with religious education work.  At the U.U. Fellowship of Montgomery, they have "2nd Hour" which is religious education for all ages.  At the First Unitarian Church of Alton, I offered "Inspire Programs" two to three times a month for adults on topics ranging from U.U. history/identity to the Enneagram to anti-oppression/multicultural work and beyond.  As an interim, I will lead programs specific to the interim, as needed, including mission/vision updates, covenant creation, and leadership training.

In addition to the teaching I do as a minister, below are some of the things I have done in relation to religious education.

Student Faculty, Starr King School for the Ministry Spring 2007
Teaching Assistant, Educating to Counter Oppressions, Fall 2006
Coming of Age Mentor, First Unitarian Church of Oakland, 2008-2009
